Rewatching TOS "That Which Survives" and made an interesting observation.

While Kirk, McCoy and Sulu are on the planet, the characters left on the Enterprise with speaking roles are -- Spock, Scotty, Uhura, M'Benga and Rahda!
And the other, John B. Watkins, has the distinction of being played by the new guy in the final season of Hogan's Heroes, another show where a lead character won't be there later on. :)

Here's a thought.

We only have nine episodes of SNW to go before it's all over.
If it were DS9, we'd be about to start the big Final Chapter run of eps.

According to startrek.com, Rebecca Romijn and Ethan Peck will make an appearance on the game show The Price is Right (which airs on Paramount-owned CBS) tomorrow to celebrate Star Trek's 60th anniversary. Another CBS game show, Let's Make a Deal, will also have a Trek-themed show tomorrow, with "a studio full of dedicated Trekkies [playing] for a stellar lineup of prizes, including coveted STAR TREK memorabilia." I have my YouTube TV DVR set to record TPIR, since I won't be home tomorrow morning.

Nice that the studio is putting such an effort into the 60th anniversary.:wtf:

"I thought it would have been so cool if someone from Spock's past came back, and expected a favor returned. I understand it to be called a blood debt. Someone has done something for you, and they come from your past, and they want their debt paid...and it was something sort of unethical, or in the ineffable grey, which I thought could have been a cool episode. You know, maybe someday."

Don't tell me...they were gonna give him yet another sibling?
Honestly, when you think about it, it's kind of surprising Spock doesn't have more siblings than the two we know about. Sarek lived for about two hundred years, mated with at least three women on a definite frequency of once every seventh year and he adopts. Spock should have siblings he doesn't even know about.

That's the soap opera sequel episode, As the Sarek turns.
