Me too! I think they use a different kind on onion to make rings, or perhaps its the frying that changes something chemically.

I read this too quick, and started picturing a hamburger where the buns have been replaced with two gigantic chocolate chip cookies.

When folks make their burgers, do they not... mix the onion into the burger patties before cooking them?

I hate onions except when they come in onion ring form. I do sometimes like to use jalapenos on them though.
