Someone obviously missed the scene in last week's episode when the "forgetting" showed people as they really were beneath the facade, just as Pike was about to incinerate his former crewman's head off with a phaser rifle at point-blank range.

If played right they could make Yeoman Nguyen the Eddington for Pike's Sisko. But I think it's unlikely we'll ever see Nguyen again.

Yeah, he was a slightly-elevated red shirt that got more than 10 seconds of screen time. Not re-visitation material, IMO.

He fulfilled his duty as a character. He served his purposes and we now know the name of the Yeoman believed killed in the events referenced in "The Cage(TOS)." His usefulness has come to a close.

With the ongoing strike it's going to be interesting to see how the cast talks about the rest of the season. Anson Mount went on Twitter yesterday and said he wasn't going to be promoting any of the projects he's associated with. I would imagine the rest of the cast will be doing the same thing.

He'll come back reformed and repentant in an epic novel where he saves Pike, the Enterprise and the Universe.

No SAG/AFTRA actor will be promoting ANYTHING. Marketing is indeed part of their job, but right now they're all on strike, so no doing anything 'job related'.

I expect the Directors of various projects in streaming and film will now be tasked with talking about whatever their project was - but unless the Director has a name/history that the general public is aware of (like say - James Cameron), I don't think that type of promotion will help much.

(And if you're wondering why the 'Ready Room' segments and episodes keep dropping and seem unaffected - realize they were filmed possibly up to a year ago while SNW S2 was in production. Yes, they want you to think they're 'current'; but I'm sure they wanted to do the interviews while they had the crew there to film, and to get the cast reaction soon after they'd finished the work on the episode that's the focus of a given segment.)
