That's ok. I have it on good authority from top men that DSC is in fact in an alternate pocket dimension.DSC made the error, not "Relics(TNG)."

What Data assumes of course, since Scotty was obviously a connaiseur of alcoholic bevereages, was that his brain was simply the brain of a man who likes his Scotch too much and therefore severly damagedSCOTT: What in blazes is this?
WAITER: Didn't you order Scotch?
SCOTT: Laddie, I was drinking Scotch a hundred years before you were born and I can tell you that whatever this is, it is definitely not Scotch.
DATA: I believe I may be of some assistance. Captain Scott is unaware of the existence of synthehol.
SCOTT: Synthehol?
DATA: Yes, sir. It is an alcohol substitute now being served aboard starships. It simulates the appearance, taste and smell of alcohol, but the intoxicating affects can be easily dismissed.
Per the above, Data assumes that Scott doesn't know about synthehol yet it's established as being in Discovery's 23rd century replicator. We could just say Data was wrong and Scott's "Synthehol?" isn't lack of recognition but his astonishment that he was given it when he didn't ask for it.
Regardless, it's retconned now and we can interpret the scene in Relics differentlyDSC made the error, not "Relics(TNG)."
Same. That's a point not worth focusing on.Feel free. I'm not going to.![]()
Now I'm thinking of the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark: "TOP...men."That's ok. I have it on good authority from top men that DSC is in fact in an alternate pocket dimension.
Or...... it was a mistake and can be safely ignored.Regardless, it's retconned now and we can interpret the scene in Relics differently
Same. That's a point not worth focusing on.
Though, to be fair, I gloss over most moments in Trek that involve alcohol.
Regardless, it's retconned now and we can interpret the scene in Relics differently
And I never knew.I totally forgot Discovery introduced Synthehol.
I'll accept it into my head canon.Synthahol was trialled on cross field class ships, when the class became classified the synthahol project went with it. It was tried again nearly a century later - a stretch but it works.
I totally forgot Discovery introduced Synthehol.
which, of course, contradicts Picard Season 2.Everyone knows that in TOS times their is only 3 alcoholic choices.[...],Picard's stuff.
