Mixed.

That said, I'm one of those people who dislikes SNW even more than DISCOVERY on canon / tonal issues, so this is much more of an FYI, this information is out there, take from it what you wish... like when I post the WGA credits from an upcoming season.

Turns out the embargo lifts Monday, when non spoiler reviews can be given for the first six episodes of the season. (Thursday is the airdate of 201). So many of the YouTube and usual media reviews should drop then.

It just sounds 80s-ish to me, maybe overly brassy.

I think if they had used it, we'd have been completely fine with it and when someone in that alternate universe posted a video of the revised TMP theme as the TNG theme we'd be saying, "huh, that sounds wrong."

I never said the main characters have nothing to do with each other. The things that you wrote about them don't seem to have anything to do with one another.

And I don't automatically expect posts to connect to preceding posts. I expect posts to *either* connect to preceding posts and continue an existing conversation *or* make an actually genuine attempt to start a conversation by introducing a new topic which by definition has to include a clear understanding of what the hell you want to talk about (which your post didn't) and which really also should give some indication of why you wanted to talk about it and/or why you feel the way you do about it (which your post didn't).

This getting pointless. Of course people like and dislike different things about different people. That's absolutely normal, and expecting otherwise is odd.
The post was about hopes for S2 after rewatching S1, as stated. If you don't see why that would be a thing after S1 came out on yt and S2 is about to be released, I can't help you. In a general discussion thread, you can expect any and all general discussions. Over and out
