Yeah, it seems to be a cadet's uniform. Presumably when she first comes aboard.

We know he’s a Commodore by 2270, but we aren’t given a date when he was promoted, so it might not have happened before SNW S01’s time of 2259.

Yeah, I'd think a Commodore or an Admiral. And Trek traditionally does stories featuring flag officers who are connected to our heroes in someway.

I don't know I think they should have a Fleet Captain April; and then when he is promoted to Commodore or Admiral, Pike is promoted to Fleet Captain.

I’ve been thinking about who ‪‪I’d most like to see appear as Robert April in SNW, and ‪‪I think it’d be Wes Studi.

He’s great in everything, and ‪‪I think would have the gravitas of an elder statesman/the first captain of the Federation’s first Enterprise.
