Wow! I never saw that much snow in Mojave desert. They really, really fixed GW by then.
I like to think his new name is Cash. Tango & Cash.
It's actually not out of the question to get such heavy snowfalls in that area. The altitude is above 2600'. It doesn't last long, but it happens. Here are a few recent examples:
