Of course, of course I know that. But I mean like different developments in warp is the reason for different looks.

FX is understandable. But we are dealing with different eras. Cars don't sound the same as they did 50 years ago or 100 years ago. I just thought it would be interesting to introduce something that differentiates different centuries.
Even TOS Remastered didn't show the Enterprise in a more modern warp jump. They just had stars streaking by the ship a lot faster than they did in the original 1960s versions of the episodes.
The toaster-oven impulse engines warming up DOES look cool.
I didn't even notice that blinky light behind the turbolift bump.
I also really like the way the camera "dollied" or moved along with the ship in the opening frames of that video ... swooping in and panning with the ship. Looks very TOS!

The intercooler itself looks a little longer as well, but that may be perspective. Hopefully they've at least refined the mis-scaled detailing on this thing.
I want to know why the ship was being fired at in one of the scenes. ( I like that we're back in the more dangerous 23rd century where we hopefully get to see some ships firing at each other once in awhile

Probably Klingons. Question is - which kind?
But the Bolts / Torpedoes were pinkish red in color; that's not really a Klingon weapon color these days.
Maybe, maybe not... I remember reading a long time ago that many of the weapons systems colors used in Trek matched the blood color of the race using them. Red for Starfleet (humans), green for Romulans. Perhaps the Klingons in SNW have the ST6 pinkish-red blood. 
I hope they restrict exterior shots of the Enterprise to about 4 or 5 different ones that they recycle over and over. Oh, and the nacelles mysteriously change from shot to shot as well.
Don't forget the 3 different bridge dome designs.

Y'know, probably so... Trek series seem to change Klingon makeups like Starfleet changes uniforms.New kind.
Got to make sure the shiny baubles are out there or else people won't know its Star Track.
