FX is understandable. But we are dealing with different eras. Cars don't sound the same as they did 50 years ago or 100 years ago. I just thought it would be interesting to introduce something that differentiates different centuries.I don't understand it, it's not a change in universe but an FX one.

I don't like it in a pre TOS series since Kirk's NCC 1701 didn't do it until TMP.
.I hope they restrict exterior shots of the Enterprise to about 4 or 5 different ones that they recycle over and over. Oh, and the nacelles mysteriously change from shot to shot as well.
