As far as we know the ship still carries 203 officers and crew since the screen graphic of the ship aboard Discovery listed the crew complement from "The Cage(TOS)."

Yeah they used Eaves final concept art model for the screen. You can find that exact render in the booklet that comes with the Eaglemoss model.

It's odd considering they had the modified design in the Season 1 finale.

Another thing I just noticed on Eaves final design, those rectangles on the saucer are glowing like in TOS, while in the final show model they're dark grey, and I think are shown to be hatches in Season 2.

Eaves final design was slightly more faithful to TOS than the actual show model lol

Or they moved the wall in and the corridor can still be accessed from the turbolift?

Oh bullshit. If you don't like the design just say you don't like the design. The Defiant looked fucking slick. I wish the current TPTB had a quarter of the creativity that the TOS folks had.

It looked good for 2000's era TV CGI and looked better than the 1960's aesthetic, but a more true TOS shaped ENT with 2020 era CGI would have blown it away.

the turbolift door is closet to the captain's chair.

I know it seems ironic of me, but I love the data cards.
