The pylon gaps might be filled in this time. Trekyards seems convinced that the gap is no longer open.
What about the bowling alley?

The thigh gap was the first thing I looked for. It's there.. Sadly. Was hoping they'd straighten out the pylons and get rid of that john eaves ugly gap..
Maybe it'll be different in the actual show.. Doubt it.

Her being related to Khan is like saying someone related to Gengus Khan.. As in alot were related.. He was very rapey..
Our Khan probably had dozens of cortizans and consorts. So being a distant relative is no big deal.

And I’m convinced it’s just the angle of the shot. You can see the inner edge of the gap in the image.
I tried recreating the shot in STO on a previous page. You can’t see through the gap.
Obviously. Doesn't change how dumb the idea is.
I don't think it's necessarily a dumb idea to include one of Khan's descendants, but there's plenty of room there for dumb execution.
Also when it comes to the Enterprise, I'm kind of hoping that my future self will drop by soon to let me know if it gets a refit into the Original Series ship in the series finale. As long as I get that refit I can accept this Enterprise. Gap in the pylons and all.
(Yeah I know it didn't get a refit in that Short Treks cartoon, but that couldn't even get the saucer section texture facing the right way).

I’d think they’d change their name if they weren’t proud of their heritage.
The hyphen shows that they might have attempted to do so.

It looks almost the same as the Strange New Worlds Enterprise except with better proportions!

I mean, the original Enterprise (or Connie design) looked perfectly fine on Enterprise or on TOS-R. It was just changed for change sake on Disco/SNW.
In a perfect world it would be a slow motion change where over the course of the series it just morphs. S1 it looks like it apparently does now. S2 opens with the ship having the correct deflector dish, and maybe a corrected shuttle bay. Sometime in S3 the impulse engine are changed to match the original, etc…
so by the series finale, when they show Pike handing the keys over to Kirk…boom…Discoprise is now Enterprise.
