I like the titles arrangement. In theory, the subtitle could've fit into a line.

I wonder if the + formed by the n and the W (why is it lowercase n and uppercase everything else?) has mean or just looks nifty. I'm trying to imagine what the logo would look like if the Starfleet star insignia was in the n/W combo, instead of the O.

I'm going to bet they fixed the asymmetrical collars, probably simplified the piping too. The first change makes them look better and the second makes them cheaper to produce.

I noticed Captain Carol Freeman on LD has what looks like a Starfleet Academy service cap on her display shelf in her Ready Room, so that might be a play off both the Pike hat from "The Cage(TOS)" and the Starfleet caps worn in the Kelvin Timeline as part of cadet and dress uniforms.
