McCoy inherited the skull from M'Benga. I really love the touches on the set that evoke Jefferies original set designs. Yet they feel new and exciting at the same time!

The set design in this show is excellent. It's the perfect blend of TOS and the Kelvin movies for me, big chunky white plastic retro future.

Not so crazy about the uniforms, IMHO they should have just put everyone in the Star Trek Beyond outfits. Not sure about Spock's look, but massive props to them for doing something a little different with an iconic character. Real hair (with I think fake bangs stuck on in front?) > any Spock wig.

I'm just blah on the Enterprise exterior. The white finish of the Kelvinprise (and smoother shapes) would mach better match the sets than the dark angular metal look we've got.

Show looks promising, considering how good it looks and how great Picard S2 has been, it might be one hell of a day if Picard finale and SNW Pilot arrive at the same day for us.

The character teases are very promising - each seem to have their own identity and interesting facets.

Hopefully the episodes won't let that lull.

With all the individual character teasers, I'm hoping that they'll have a "character focus" episode for each of them this season - sort of like what DS9 did in Season 1 following the pilot.
