Okay. Could be.No, you're right. My math sucks worse than yours.
No, I think that was just me (and possibly you) trying to do math at 4:45 in the morning. It was $951 short.

Well said in your now "locked" thread.
Candidly this really wasn't the thread or forum to be getting into your complaint. I think another forum focused on this board's issues would be more appropriate. Perhaps the Questions, Suggestions & Feedback forum or even perhaps Miscellaneous. Thanks but I just noticed that someone locked the thread and is now preventing me from posting to the thread that I started for myself.
I was going to post material from various medical associations on media violence and children, but because someone locked the thread, I can not.

Tom Hanks stepped up with enough of a donation so that no more funding drives will be needed?Michele Specht has stated there will be some "more good news" about the fundraiser posted on STC's Facebook page within the next couple of hours.
Vic sold his reading glasses in San Francisco and raised $100. (They'd have been worth more with the lenses intact.)
Or just that they've made it to 350,000? I'm inclined to think the latter, because this morning they reminded us we can still donate through the website.Vic has just announced on FB that "consideranle private donations" have allowed them to reach their goal.
Wow! Could this mean they are wholly done with crowdfunding fir STC?
I'd say this too, but even so - that is one hell of a donation! Time to celebrate I guess - that should take the load off his shoulders and make up for the worry of the past weeks.Or just that they've made it to 350,000?
Celebratory hug!I'd say this too, but even so - that is one hell of a donation! Time to celebrate I guess - that should take the load off his shoulders and make up for the worry of the past weeks.
Although now my excuse for "giving you a hug because you need one right now" for next weekend has now vanishedAh well, I'll give him one anyway!
Good idea, thanksCelebratory hug!
More than likely they'll keep any Croundfund campaigns they have already started going (and take direct donations for Productions on their website too) - but won't launch any new KS/Indegogo/GoFundMe et. al.) campaigns. Nice to know they say they've met their goal and will finish their plans for a 13 episode run.Or just that they've made it to 350,000? I'm inclined to think the latter, because this morning they reminded us we can still donate through the website.
In any case, incredible news!!!
That's tremendous news. STC set the bar for fan films, and I hope to see much more from them.
The bar for production quality perhaps. I'd say they haven't set a bar in terms of story quality. STC suffers from all the tropes and flaws in their scripts as any other fan film. "Lolani" certainly being the best of their stories, and it's unfortunate that their subsequent episodes haven't been quite as decent.
