Yes Spock's hair looked fuller? I think you are right about it possibly juicing interest. Unfortunately, we will not know the answer to that.

It's hard to say. If that was a pre-prod teaser and the Indiegogo was to make the whole episode, then yeah, I think releasing it as part of the campaign absolutely would have helped.
But that episode is already in the can, the Indiegogo is to make new episodes, and I have to think that most donors already know what STC can do (and can easily find out by watching existing videos if they didn't know). So I don't know that releasing that before/during the campaign would have raised more many than having it as a "if we get to $X we'll release it" collective reward to backers.

I have just seen the Indiegogo supporter’s preview of episode six. It is very well done, the engineering room looks amazing. The frustrating thing is that the preview ended on a cliff hanger. They really should have released it to the public as it would have encouraged more people to donate.
