You're gonna make me bust out the TNG technical manual.Which is inconsistent with TNG and TOS.
When the manual gets reference on screen I'll take that more seriously. You're gonna make me bust out the TNG technical manual.
TOS: "By Any Other Name"I think disco was the first trek show to leave the MW galaxy. Maybe i'm wrong, its been awhile.
TOS did it three separate times, though the Enterprise did U-turns and went back into our own galaxy each time. TNG also did it in an early first season episode, the one with the Traveler.I think disco was the first trek show to leave the MW galaxy. Maybe i'm wrong, its been awhile.
And fluidic space.Voyager went to the Q continuum. Does that count?
I disqualified Where No Man Has Gone Before because Kirk orders the Enterprise out of the Barrier before they finish the crossing.TOS did it three separate times, though the Enterprise did U-turns and went back into our own galaxy each time. It mentions the 16 settings of a Federation phaser before they were mentioned in dialogue in DS9.When the manual gets reference on screen I'll take that more seriously.
Useful. Thank youIt mentions the 16 settings of a Federation phaser before they were mentioned in dialogue in DS9.
It also has a diagram of the saucer crash landing identically to Generations 3 years in advance.

Left the Milky Way and passed through two galaxies and ended up on the far side of Triangulum (M33).TOS did it three separate times, though the Enterprise did U-turns and went back into our own galaxy each time. TNG also did it in an early first season episode, the one with the Traveler.

One of my favorite episodes. Just pure adventure and exploration. Not much of that when it comes to just a single episode of space traveling and encountering weird phenomena in deep space these days. STA seems to be going the major khan villain route. Getting tired of that kind of story.Left the Milky Way and passed through two galaxies and ended up on the far side of Triangulum (M33).

In a few minutes.
For such a great distance, for the universe it is still only considered in our local group of galaxies. One of my favorite episodes. Just pure adventure and exploration. Its been awhile, I thought they went to the center of our galaxy.TOS did it three separate times, though the Enterprise did U-turns and went back into our own galaxy each time. TNG also did it in an early first season episode, the one with the Traveler.
