A breakup of two young people, in fiction, with zero conflict. WTF?

TNG would be proud. And DS9.

The breakup of Adira and Gray didn't have any weight because the characters themselves were bland. The idea of both characters was much better than their portrayal and execution. Both actors were, frankly, extremely weak and just didn't have the chops to make them memorable. (The writing on DISCO did them no favors, either.)
