Maybe the Klingons will now be pacifist who have given up on being a warrior culture but their is still some who hold onto the old ways and live on colonies.
I don't think the Academy series was in development that long.
Season 3 and almost all of season 4 aired before there was any word this was even going to be a show.
Well, the official announcement was in 2023, so I'm going by that. (Particularly in this case, since a series set at Starfleet Academy has been 'talked about' or 'been in development' since the 80s.)![]()

Mara would like a word.Yep. The only other Klingon scientist I can remember offhand is the one working with Dr. Crusher in "Suspicions(TNG)."
You forgot the one in Prodigy.Yep. The only other Klingon scientist I can remember offhand is the one working with Dr. Crusher in "Suspicions(TNG)."
M'tLokWe saw a Klingon lawyer on Deep Space Nine.

I also still stand by my assertion that the writers of DISCO were not good enough to have that kind of foresight to keep the Klingons out of the 32nd century so it would be an open field for ACADEMY. The most likely explanation for the lack of Klingons is it was in response to the many criticisms of seasons 1 and 2, which was one of the reasons why they jumped to the 32nd century. It's not a coincidence that it's past the point of any episode aired by that point. Klingons were a big part of those seasons, so they went the exact opposite direction and didn't even mention them.
It was Ch'pok.M'tLok![]()

I wrote what I meant. Here, let me translate that for you:
"The evidence points to the Discovery writers deliberately staying out of the SFA writers way, but I'm biased to I choose to believe they were just stupid and lucky"
And in ENT.We saw a Klingon lawyer on Deep Space Nine.
*wink*wink* say no more...Kahlest. Served the House of Mogh at one time. She knew Chancellor K'mpec before he ever became the leader of the Klingon Empire.
