Finn's story was one of the most enjoyable for me in the ST. I don't see all the bad stuff people keep insisting is there.

Because he was conflicted.

He may have been conflicted in the TLJ Throne Room scene, but in TROS he was 100% unconflicted Ben Solo. He should have made easy work of the Knights Who Say Ren. Didn't need a light saber to collectively levitate and drop them down a bottomless pit.

That was not how I saw him in the movie.

I had thought it was pretty clear that Finn freaked out when he saw his friend killed, and then couldn't handle all the villagers being massacred, that was enough for me.
I do wonder if they should've kept this in.

I like they left it out. The way it plays in the movie it's like something else, not just his not wanting to kill but something awoke in him, Kylo Ren is very interested in him too for no reason suddenly.
Before the force awakens came out a lot of people thought Fin was force sensitive based on the trailer and poster. That may have colored my first viewing of the scene but even when i rewatched it there is something else going on there on a deeper level.

I always thought Kylo Ren was just sensing his breaking training and doubts but that's an interesting read on it.

Once he says "Dad!" to memory-Han and chucks his saber in the ocean, the conflict is gone. He's Ben Solo, happily ever after.
There is still some conflict. Hardly happily ever after. He still has to face down his demons, in this case, the Knights of Ren. Kylo becomes the traitor that he was constantly screaming at Finn for being.

Did Billie Lourd play her in Rogue One also?
I found the TROS version to be very similar to it. Face seems a bit too young and slim. It's not a big thing but I did feel they looked younger than they did in ROTJ.

The article I read about Billie Lord playing Leia said that part of the reason some people were bothered by the Rogue One Leia was because the face of the actress they used didn't line up with Carrie FIsher's very well, so the CGI face looked a little bit off.

On that point, I agree. Hopefully they will be able to use Lord in the future.

It doesn't seem to me that there is conflict. He's there to help Rey, and damned the stormtroopers who get in his way. He knocks them out in classic Han Solo fashion. I just didn't see the conflict when the Knights of Ren surrounded him. They weren't about to forgive him.

Ok.

I think Lord's face is a bit too small though. It doesn't match up that well IMO.
