I prefer it in "the original Rex Harrison."
The ceaseless mist and fog dishonor the House of Mog?How do you say "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains" in Klingon?![]()
Very enjoyable, and Season 2 was more of a downward turn. But, Pike was great so I find some enjoyment even if Leland is a pain in the ass and not a good villain.Yeah, DSC was....something....early on.
Everything. Take off those nostalgia goggles you’re wearing.

It matters to Ortegas, the Metron only erased their involvement, she still remembers everything else that happened.t was there a screaming need for the Metron to show up and TELL US that nothing that happened thus far with the Gorn matters
It matters to Ortegas, the Metron only erased their involvement, she still remembers everything else that happened.
The title of the episode pretty much gives away why they did what they did.
And everybody still remembers that the Gorn are out there.
But judging from what they told her (and US), that will be "dealt with" in the future. So it doesn't matter what SHE knows or remembers, the point is that things will change bc they need to change.
I think that means they will engineer another meeting between the UFP and the Gorn, with different parameters . And through that meeting how the Gorn are perceived will change. (Arena)But judging from what they told her (and US), that will be "dealt with" in the future. On the other hand, in the pilot episode even when T'Kuvma did speak English, he was still impossible to understand. It wasn’t just the make up, it was also them using the correct Marc Okrand Klingon language pronunciations.
When Voq/Ash spoke Klingon when in human form he sounded nearly the same as he did with all the makeup on.
Same with Mary Chieffo when she played L’Rell again in voice over for Star Trek online.
Ummm ... the incident at Cestus III anybody? But judging from what they told her (and US), that will be "dealt with" in the future. So it doesn't matter what SHE knows or remembers, the point is that things will change bc they need to change.
Ummm ... the incident at Cestus III anybody?
Seems to me that's in "the future".
They pretty much do the same thing to Captain Kirk and get better results than They expected.
The writing was foreshadowing the meeting/fight in "Arena".Umm I am talking about the writing and US... not in universe stuff. But... it's okay, I don't really have the time and inclination right now to debate this with you.
Sorry, but nothing needs to change just because Kirk didn't recognize the particular Gorn that he encountered.Umm I am talking about the writing and US... not in universe stuff. But... it's okay, I don't really have the time and inclination right now to debate this with you.
