It's also physiologically impossible to beam someone someplace ... but Trek does
Warp Drive is physically impossible .... but Trek does
SNW S01E01, Chapel injects the Landing Party with a DNA recombinant to make them look and read as aliens to fit in. What's the difference here? The Popeye Juice is a variation of that.
Yep, and their bones are literally changing because of that.

They were both bleeding and pretty beat up when they got home. Who knows how many broken bones they had, and where? Obviously, whatever pain they felt from injuries while juiced up did not bother them a lot while under the influence.

How did the folks who object to this deal with Kirk fighting the Gorn, BTW? That was some Grade A bullshit, right there.

Need we remind some about the fact that late 20th century and early 21st century Earth science led to Khan and the Augments, human beings with an average of five times the physical strength of average humans? Scientists from pre-warp Earth could create people that could take down squads of Klingons and barely break a sweat.

A green vial of late 2250s Kick Ass Serum tracks with the Trek we've watched since 1967.

You know what's a real giggle?

There are no less than two episodes of Star Trek in which prisoners turn themselves into high explosives capable of damaging a starship by injecting themselves with some chemical. Neither were produced by Abrams or Kurtzman.

Refresh my memory....Voyager's Basics Part One, and....?

"Chosen Realm(ENT)."

Roga Danar in "The Hunted(TNG)" doesn't turn himself into a walking explosive but he is an example of a chemically-altered soldier who is the result of science turning an average humanoid into someone who can kick your ass and not bat an eye in the process.

The Vulcan extremist who tried to assassinate Sarek in "Lethe" injected himself with something that maked him go "boom".

The religious zealots in the Delphic Expanse took out part of one of Enterprise's decks with a chemical explosive that one member was carrying in, I think, his arm? Took at least one crewmember with them as well.

The original Star Trek juice was TOS Kirk's libido. :shifty:

They've got a word for that: Mojo, baby. Yeah! (Read that in Austin Powers voice...)

In other news unrelated to Cooleddie's post, people keep bringing up Babs's martial arts background. That's totally irrelevant. The question is not whether the actor has a martial arts background, but the character. Is Dr. M'Benga a Brazilian jujitsu expert?
