Kirk was a liquid spinach hypo addict. So was Ronald Tracey. Explains everything!

Well the trailers have shown we'll see the Klingons again, so maybe we will.I think there's something there and I hope the opportunity to explore them further.
Pre-TOS spock has always been emotional. Not liking Spock's actions or behavior in this episode. He's too emotional and I don't like the love triangle they seem to be creating with him, Chapel, and T'Pring.
I disagree. Also didn't care for how Spock talked to Admiral April. I found it disrespectful and also uncharacteristic.
Discovery missed 99% of the war remember. It was probably created while they were time displaced.I would've liked to see them explain why the stimulant that M'Benga and Chapel were using hasn't been used before. It would've come in handy a lot on Disco, especially the first season. It's sort of reminding me of Into Darkness's magic blood.
Short answer is that I thought I had read somewhere that Kirk had transferred from security to command. That may not be canon. If it's not, then it's weaker justification. That's why Security fails. They're trying to make explosives.
More on topic, why is Kirk can improvise gun powder indicative of prior security training but M'Benga and Chapel can't have combat training?
Except few of the female characters engage in combat.only that Chapel's combat training looked a bit advanced based on her established TOS character
No.doesn't that reduce the contribution of your security characters.
So I just realized that the Broken Circle remind me so much of the Maquis and the Cardassian issue.
Well, Paramount tells us season 2 will be MORE so we should see MORE big space explosions and nonsensical shemale fights. Heck Uhura did the clever work in this episode. Discovery had this flaw. The pace was so frenetic I got motion sick watching it. Watch it SNW, slow down once in awhile and let us get to know these people.
As I recall, in TOS, the ladies that could do battle were often subdued by kissing.Except few of the female characters engage in combat.
No.
Ah. A family show.As I recall, in TOS, the ladies that could do battle were often subdued by kissing.
Well, in your opinion no, in my opinion yes. Different opinions based on the same evidence are fine.Except few of the female characters engage in combat.
No.

No...Well, in your opinion no, in my opinion yes. Different opinions based on the same evidence are fine.
Ok, but one doesn't track from the other. Both characters are stated to be combat veterans and learning self defense in your off hours is different than the intricacies of hear surgery. For so many reasons. But Worf did not look confident when delivering a baby and we will see which of us is laughing when security officer Dickerson is performing your heart surgery.
The fuck does that mean?nonsensical shemale fights.
Women aren't supposed to fight. It's not ladylike. The fuck does that mean?
The fuck does that mean?
Action-Adventure gonna Action-AdventureOr done the sensible thing and used a sidearm. Never bring your martial arts to a gunfight.![]()

There's an entire subset of episodes where ST characters get criminally charged. Including a certain Doctor. There's no chance of an ST burse or doctor being criminally charged in a TV show though. You can't really compare to real life.
You may perhaps want to go back and rewatch the multitude of Trek episodes in which almost everyone of the characters are at one time or another, criminally charged with something. There's no chance of an ST burse or doctor being criminally charged in a TV show though. You can't really compare to real life.
My 2 y/o son's comment on that scene, way back when, was, "Kirk soft her" - because he was often admonished to be gentle (soft) ... with animals.Shahna has entered the chat![]()
