Confusing post on Memory Alpha. The post about Piper said he succeeded Boyce. We never saw the transition so why would Piper be succeeding Boyce? We had no context.

I think "it will always be a broad spectrum" answered that question. Some people will fall within the "strictly heterosexual" realm as they always have. It's part of the spectrum. But there will be no heterosexuals?
I mean, that's an assumption at the point it was written since we had zero information going from "The Cage" to "Where No Man Has Gone Before." Similarly, we can assume Kirk took succeeded Pike, though it was confirmed in "The Menagerie."Confusing post on Memory Alpha. The post about Piper said he succeeded Boyce.
Why are you replying to me, i agreed with you.The scene is at the end of these "cut for commercial time" scenes from the original Amok Time.
It is in the original episode. The scenes in that video are just the ones cut for the syndicated airing, but they're in the original airing and in the home/streaming releases. If it's not in the aired episode it doesn't count.

Thank you.is in the original episode. The scenes in that video are just the ones cut for the syndicated airing, but they're in the original airing and in the home/streaming releases.
Unless you’re living in 60s or 70s and stuck with only the syndication cuts, I can’t imagine anyone using the cut version as reference. The scene is at the end of these "cut for commercial time" scenes from the original Amok Time.
I did for a time. Still use VHS.Unless you’re living in 60s or 70s and stuck with only the syndication cuts, I can’t imagine anyone using the cut version as reference.![]()
23rd century Bingo. They weren't playing anything close to Bingo.
Seems rather relatable to me, since it happens a lot in real life.I don't like relationship tropes where couples fight because one is too busy and the other feels neglected.
It's coming back! And it is probably a silly nitpick but it kind of takes me out of the show every time the characters wears civilian clothes because it is so obvious that they are just wearing contemporary street clothes from today.
My one quibble...the Enterprise is at Spacedock to undergo repairs following their encounter with the Gorn, and we are seeing the crew as they begin their shore leave....yet the Enterprise looks practically totally repaired and good as new. Would have been nice to see her still a bit damaged and progressively looking better as the episode went on.
Must be my eyes because right now it looks like it is made out of Legos. And boy does the Enterprise look great in that light.
Before they get into the interrogation room, La'an shouts "BAD COP!"; beating Una to it.- Una being more 'Pike like' and being 'friendly' to get the ensign to open up and tell her exactly what they were doing and why.
- La'an being HARD CORE BUTTON DOWN MILITARY with the "Okay, talk now or the next chance you get will be at you court martial..."
And further the fact that BOTH of them got the same info and La'an and Una are casually and cordially discussing it with neuther one being aware of the method the other used to GET the info.
So you're saying everyone in the future will be bisexual or pansexual?
I think they meant for this plot to be less funny than amusing and character growthy. The actors certainly did a good job with what they were given. The differences were just too subtle IMO. Body swaps are funny IMO because of the characters being very out of character. For example, SG1 did a great body swap ep where Teal'c and O'Neil swap bodies. Seeing Tealc who is the stoic warrior type suddenly be the wise cracking O'Neil is very funny.
A classic.
I love the way B5 did it as well; simple updates to current suits and stuff. They have done the same on Picard. They went back to zippers, jeans, work boots, belts and collared button shirts that can all be bought at Walmart. It does take me out of the show to. The think that TOS did right was to make civilian clothing seem futuristic. Same with TNG, DS9 and STV. I guess they just don't have the budget to design cool looking 23rd century civilian clothing.
There was no arc. He went fishing.I didn't even understand wat M'benga arc was, seemed like they thought of something than scrapped it.
Gray. Thanks for trying. The Enterprise was WHITE dammit.
