Mine was that, followed by "Man, I really did enjoy those movies!"First thing I thought when I saw the Section 31 ships was,"These would have fit perfectly in an Abramsverse Star Trek movie." With my second thought being, "Man, I really didn't enjoy those movies..."
I never liked how that was called a primitive ship--a Maalon design--that I can see.New pictures by Ben on Twitter:

Other than being black, they have nothing in common.
Quick turnaround.Sure, it's obviously inspired by the Vengeance
The Kobayashi Maru is inaccurate. It's based on the concept art CG sent to ILM rather than the finished CG and as such the proportions are quite different. Also the paint job is different to the final version, which does not have the hull number across the front. I suspect the people who made this model never saw the final model from any angle except what appears in the movie.Question: I’m considering purchasing the Kelvin Timeline ECS Kobayashi Maru this Christmas - and am wondering what peeps general thoughts are on this one?
I’m leaning towards purchasing it, however there’s a few other starships that are also in the running - namely the Kelvin timeline 2009 Klingon battle cruiser, and the Phase II USS Enterprise 1701).
Thoughts? Preferences?
Thanks in advance!![]()
Daniel, that's really shocking...Mine was that, followed by "Man, I really did enjoy those movies!"
