That last one, the Slant Magazine review is the most negative i have read, though it isn't surprising. Slant it seems to have a pessimistic point of view of everything, politics, religion, movies... etc... But I guess they still rated it as fresh.

I wonder if people like that ever smile. Didn't like the opening scene. Thought Quinto was bland. Calls Pine a "himbo," even though neither he or Kirk fit the definiton. And, it's a "war picture." WTF.

Well, he seems to hate the modern blockbuster genre. I'd be curious to see his take on other films that follow the same formula.

I must admit that most of them that I've seen bore me, and as a result I skip most of the new releases in the genre.

But whats with the haters in the RT community, only 68% from about 250 reviews.

Are these people fans of Star Trek who just don't like the new version, or are they just idiots who are trying to lower the rating on purpose. Well the 0 ratings with no explanations are for sure.

The RT community score is total B/S complete so called die hard fans who refuse change are giving low scores because they are so far up there own ass they will never see daylight again BUT we will blow them out of water with fair reviews once its released. However the 0% scores need to be removed by RT because its clear they are being put there by people who hate SCI FI or just TREK in general.
