Didi anyone else think this was the H.R. Geiger design of Borg Queens?
I really liked it. They played with a design similar to this during the First Contact production before swapping to the design we know. I like that she became this.... thing... that had to suck the life out of what few Borg she had left and was holding onto life by her fingernales. My only complaint is that the audio work they did made the voice only momentarily recognizable compared to the FC Queen. But I suppose she was also in agony.

I wish they had been more specific about the disposition of the Borg. Is this Queen all that's left? I presume the Endgame Virus did this to her (most of us do). It would have been interesting to connect this to the Section 31 Morphogenic Virus to give us two instances of the Federation using biological weapons to win its wars. Also this was clearly no normal cue. It was about 10 times the size of the normal cube Did she make it out of the Unimatrix? The Transwarp Conduit in Season 2 was the Borg as a feint, per the producers. Some clarify would have been nice.

But yeah in her final appearance, I do like that we got a monstrous, half dead Queen trying to hold on. Better than getting the Season 2 or FC look. I just wish the voice was more recognizable..

I liked it.
Enjoyed it, was sitting on the edge of my couch for a good chunk.

Galaxy sized hole in the ship..

Only thing I didnt like was the rename to enterprise.. Means they took the titan name for nothing... Ugh.. It was already an A to honor the Titan!! Ugh..

Seven should have captained the Voyager b she has Zero conection to the Enterprise.

So did Captain Picard. Until he was made captain.

The difference is, the Stargazer was only present as Picard's backstory. But with Seven, we've followed her journey aboard Voyager from the start, and it's only been a few episodes ago when she zoomed in on that very ship on the main viewscreen and wistfully reminisced to Jack about how that ship was her real found family. After all this, giving her the Enterprise kind of feels like nothing but a fanwanky afterthought.

Was Shelby really the F’s Captain or was it more a Fleet Admiral or C in C commanding the flagship for the ceremony?

She shouldn't be a captain at all, let alone a first officer.

Found an interesting insight on TVTropes: the fact that the Q meeting Jack is from an earlier point in his life than the one we saw in Season 2, should mean that the Q who helped Picard come to terms with his family history and especially with his reluctance to have a family, did so because he had already met Picard's son, and wanted to help prepare him for the inevitable encounter as a parting gift. Picard learning to accept himself in spite of all his traumas, faults and fears led him to be able to make the connections he was missing his entire life, that allowed him to accept Jack in his life and the both of them to realize they don't have to be alone ever again, which allowed them to overcome the Borg hive mind. Thus, Q played a long game that allowed both Picard and Jack break free from the Borg once and for all, and break the Collective's stranglehold over the galaxy as well for good.

I really loved this. This is the most satisfied I've been with a Star Trek property since Deep Space Nine.

From reading through the comments over the past few weeks, I know some people have problems with the Borg/Changeling conspiracy and other plot issues. I think that misses the forest for the trees.

To me, this series has never been about the mystery box. It's been about these characters finding each other again, the characters realizing what they've lost in distancing themselves from the closeness they had with each other once upon a time, and re-finding their strengths and growing as people once they come together and realize their mistakes to deal with a problem.

I think I gave this show more leeway because I cared and connected with these characters in ways that I haven't for any of the previous iterations. When Riker sorta accepts his own death and says something to the effect of "Imzadi, I love you and I'll wait for you with our son," I felt that and it hit me.

I am bummed out that there was no fight between D and F. I knew they would get Jack pretty quickly, but I was half hoping that after the cube got destroyed, F would be the only assimilated ship left and then Titan & F duke it out with D arriving just in time to take out the F with an assist from Titan. Alas, that was not to be…

I was hoping to see the F at the fleet museum, but I know the moment wasn't about that.
