And here was I thinking that elves were mostly known for their bows. And if only elves use swords, then surely Klingons are elves too.

That being said, our pointy-eared Vulcanoid friends actually do fit the Space Elf trope to a T. They always have. Romulans are in this regard basically a sci-fi version of Dark Elves, even the "split from mainstream elven society and went their own way" backstory is there.

Yeah, Aragorn was the sword guy! Maybe Elnor is a human and heir to Gondor.

Not the elvish type sword that Elnor uses. Nope he's an elf. Lol
Looked Asian to me. Elnor’s whole look says Asian historical drama to me

Put pointed ears on the band Nelson and they'd also fit into an elf movie. And at least then the music would be interesting.

Wisdom - mileage may vary on this trait. He was brought up with absolute candor as a trait, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I really value truth, honesty, and integrity. Some would argue not lying is a sign of wisdom, but again this is more subjective with people.

I feel like the writing is pretty inconsistent in how that's portrayed. In S1 and bits of S2 (largely the scene where Raffi tries to guilt trip him into staying in Starfleet), Elnor does show emotional intelligence and perceptiveness. The issue is that he's a fish out of water culturally - outside of the QM, he's not sure when his training and observations are appropriate (re: when he's "in-butting"), and sometimes he plain doesn't care, and he hasn't seen a lot of the galaxy outside of an increasingly hostile refugee settlement. Then in S2, there's an odd series of jokes that plays his emotional openness as more of an idiot man-child bit, where he's just blurting out observations seemingly at random. But overall, I don't know that I'd call his behavior an indication of wisdom so much as the result of culture shock.
