Or he didn't kill anyone. We'll not talk about killer Spock right now since that seems to be terrible writing unless there's a follow-up episode that shakes things up - the most obvious cliche being his doctors were alien agents, etc.

By far the most likely explanation.Or he didn't kill anyone.

Yes, they were incorrect about prematurely deciding if the show would be renewed or not. We'll not talk about killer Spock right now since that seems to be terrible writing unless there's a follow-up episode that shakes things up - the most obvious cliche being his doctors were alien agents, etc.
Just like when Kirk murdered Finney,Scotty murdered those women and Riker murdered that scientist.I think it was amazingly obvious almost immediately that Spock did NOT murder anyone, and that something else is going on with this situation.

But do remember, these folks did tell us upfront they were acknowledging rumors. Everyone's already full of delicious tears that seems to be a popular dish for many nowadays, let's have something of substance instead. Would Kirk or Sisko or Janeway sit there and talk of tasty lacrimal secretions?

... and Riker murdered that scientist.
And Sarek murdering Gav!Don't forget Tom Paris murdering the alien scientist who had a dog.
No...NOTHING compares to that...!
YOU'RE A DEAD MAN APGAR....A DEAD MAN!!!
The greatest scenery chewing performance in all of Trek.
Did someone say "clones"?Didn't Riker murder his clone?
Would that be suicide?
We've already seen what can happen when They hire somebody with little to no Trek knowledge...
So I for one, am deeply appreciative when They bring somebody on board who at least has a clue.
(if not more)

That list also includes Harve Bennett, Nick Meyer, Rick Berman and Michael Piller.
If I want to jerk it to canon, I can just go flip through the Star Trek Encyclopedia.
Now that Discovery is renewed for Season 3, I do wonder more about Anson Mount's tweet that kind of set off the rumor mill. To not get negative, I wonder what will happen to them at the end of the season. Maybe they aren't coming back for Season 3 (Heck, someone needs to command the Enterprise) but I wonder what will happen to set that off. Kind of makes me a little more excited for the end of the season.
I would bet $1000 they couldn't even accurately define what socialism is without looking it up.
*goes to looks up "socialism" on Google; accidentally hits "socialist utopia" in the autofill; all links are Star Trek-related*

Re: Kurtzman, I never got the impression that he wanted to be so intimately involved -- more that he was forced into the role by circumstance. I can see him trying to clear his plate as quickly as possible. After all, he has a whole universe to run.
Re: Discovery: Season two has been a huge improvement over season one, and I hope three continues that upward trend.
