I didn't get the Breen two-face thing either. But it seemed to he that their suits alter their form somehow. What the purpose is I've no idea.

I think they might have had an evolutionary path beyond being a "solid" (maybe why the Founder's liked them more than the Cardies) and there was a stigma to presenting as solid?

Loved the episode, Moll and L'ak as anti-heroes/villains with a heart of gold is doing it for me

Rayner one the bridge offering a barrel of his people's drink of choice and going round the crew felt very Pike

Negative - Stamets knowing it was ISS Enterprise doesn't stack up for me (unless from his perspective the hull markings were clearer on the viewscreen than in the shot but I think he should have just called it the Enterprise then realised

What’s the in-universe reason for not sending Commander Rhys, the 23rd century Constitution-class subject matter expert, off with the Enterprise? Could be useful command experience, like when Ensign Kim was off with the Nightingale.

I hope we get a comic (or other short story format) where Owosekun and Delmer have an adventure aboard the ISS Enterprise.
And then they try to reverse the mileage and wreck it.

Turns out the Mirror Universe M 5 unit gets activated and recreates mind controled clones of the TOS crew who are programmed to hunt down and kill Owosekun and Detmer. Together they got to kill each TOS clone character and destroy the M 5 unit. Especially knowing that some rogue Klingons are on the way and they want to destroy the ship. Thus they need to get control of the ship before the Klingons arrive.

I'm wondering if the Breen "two faces" thing may be going somewhere down the road. For whatever reason, the Breen seem to look down on their "solid" form (aka, how L'ak looks now) and prefer their energy/liquid/whatever-that-is form. L'ak's uncle claims they have "evolved past the need for that form."
Makes you wonder, if their Gelatinous / Haribo Gummy "state" are only "Liquid" when cold or in their environment suit, does that mean their planet is naturally colder, or is there something in the air that allows them to be Gelatinous?

Also, do they come in different flavors / colors?

Callback to his multiple jumps and gaining knowledge on the Mirror Universe.

How would he know specifically that it was the mirror Ent though? Maybe I missed something such as them making clear it was a halfway pocket between those specific universes?

I think for sure he should know of the ship, probably in some detail, but the hiding of it wouldn't be right?

Also - and correct me if I am wrong - but are the hull markings sufficiently obvious to make the assumption?

My conclusion is he must have seen the ships saucer markings because otherwise it could just be A N Other Connie, right?

Yeah, nothing I can come up makes any sense. Must his tardigrade-senses. ;)

Yeah.. the jelly breens concept still doesnt make sense.. piss poor writing..

So there suits protect them? Ok. Why does Lok have a solid skin. WILL POWER! Ugh.. shit writing..

At least pay attention before you pop off. All breens can go solid but it takes energy and concentration. The suits protect them and allows them think without distraction. imagine doing math homework while having poison ivy. It has become taboo in breen society to show your hardened face.

I am paying attention.. if you need somebody to come in afterwards to explain what is happening in that episode.. its crap writing.

That or he briefly glimpsed at a display readout in the seconds it took the ship to emerge. Sensors don’t need hull markings, just reading the IFF transponder.
I prefer Tardigrade-senses

Tardigrade Man Tardigrade Man
Does what ever a tardigrade can
Jumps through time
Jumps through space
Tardigrade man can jump anyplace
Guesses universes at a glance
Doesn't have to leave it to chance
Hey there, there goes the Tardigrade Man
