"Move Along Home" is even worse in most respects.

Discovery, after multiple valiant efforts has finally got its own contender for the Worst Trek Episode ever with this entry. In Star Trek's hall of shame, "That Hope is You, Part 2" now stands alongside Spock's Brain, Threshold, Shades of Gray, Profit and Lace and whichever was Enterprise's worst episode (never saw enough of the series to elect an episode). Well done Kurtzman.
Pretty sure he is full on slut shaming Dax and and lectures ob Leeta and Bashirs sexually promiscuous break up pactThe one part that's not hazy is remembering how much of a complete total asshole Worf was. This was seriously the beginning of Worf as a holier-than-thou jerk
Think I might be the only person loves this episode"Move Along Home"
Going by the DIS ratings every episode is one of the top Trek episodes ever.Wow. Just... wow. One thing that links those episodes is that it is near-universally agreed consensus that they’re bad, even if some like them as guilty pleasures. This episode sits with 60% of the board having it at 7 or above and 40% thinking it’s a 9 or above. A quarter of all voters think it was a 10. Putting it in the same category as those is nothing more than your own hatred leaking out into the realms of pure fantasy. Fortunately it takes more than one person hating it to form a consensus.

This wasnt near the worst episodes IMO though but it was extra disappointing as it was a season finale and had lots of silly scenes but the plot and story got were they needed to go and no one turned into a Salamander
Discos first and DS9s last trip to the MU are probably my most hated from those shows

That's why I think Discovery is more average. There are the extremes that are far more vocal, both for and against, and then there are those who watch it and move on. Discovery isn't the best nor is it the worst.Yeah, Discovery seems pretty popular and well regarded in general. You have a group of people who hate it for what it isn’t and they go to extraordinary lengths to downvote it, make videos about it, and some just tell barefaced lies about it. Of course, many who watch are happy with it or like parts of it. They’re just not as vocal. My general point there is was that rating it as one of the worst in Trek history is pretty much wide of the mark. That’s about as polite as I can be about that.
Because it's running multiple stories and arcs I find it doesn't have great or terrible episodes in the same way as other Trek. Every episode will have sections I enjoy and sections I hateThat's why I think Discovery is more average. That's pretty much as I watch most streaming episodes. Daredevil was probably my first encounter in that, though even Red vs. Blue did that from time to time, with some seasons feeling fairly blah. I think there are beautiful moments, and there are mediocre moments. There are few I would consider terrible, especially in taking the whole of Star trek. I find find less to hate and more I just skip.Because it's running multiple stories and arcs I find it doesn't have great or terrible episodes in the same way as other Trek. I take the ratings given in this forum with a pinch of salt considering EVERY episode of Discovery tends to get the highest rating irrespective of how bad it is. I prefer my own judgement and I'm comfortable in personally considering this episode the worst I've ever seen in the series.Wow. Just... wow. Consensus among whom? This forum? If we went by the consensus of the folk in this forum, Discovery would be considered the greatest TV series ever created since every episode gets a majority 10 vote. More neutral views of this episode (and Discovery in general) are far less flattering.I think you spectacularly missed the point about consensus. Anyway, you are of course free to have your personal views on the episode. Salt has been well and truly pinched.

"Neutral" might be pushing it a bit since few are without an agenda, but considering sources that are not a Discovery fan forum I'd look at reviews/ratings on IMDB, Jammers Reviews, Rotten Tomatoes etc. Not really positive reviews for this episode over there. No, not of this forum. Surely you’re aware of what is generally thought about the other episodes you mentioned?
As for the neutral sources you mention, what are they?
