Apparently drinking on duty means they take your phaser away, you'll have to do it.
The two of you should get a room.

Maybe, but the "X impaled by Y" thing is getting old.
One of the lesser known species traits of Beatazoids .It's amazing hum much progress has been made in the make-believe department. Remember how you could see Riker's beard intact through Deanna's very deep scratches... Seems terrible compared to what they do today.
Which again is a subjective thing - valid but subjective. I'm sure you love some show/movie/book with dumb shit in it that you don't mind. Media is seldom perfect.
Because if you give them too much rope, you end up with Star Trek 2009 or Into Darkness. Trek has fantastical elements (such as how they can produce enough energy from anti-matter to warp space) but I love the Refit because there is a lot of engineering logic to how the ship is laid out (check out some awesome threads in the fan art section where actual engineers are modelling the ship). I'm a bit mystified by the Turbolift network but it must traverse the saucer to get to the engineering section.
From a safety perspective not having an emergency lever on the Turbolift side is even crazier. The shafts go all over the ship.
Please don't mention them enlarging the ship. It wasn't necessary and is an insult to logic.
The missile thing is a minor issue. Stupid, sure, but not ultimately a huge deal in itself. Still, it is a part of the pattern where the writers want to deliver a certain scene, and they're willing to throw all reason and logic aside and just have it to happen. There are way bigger issues repeating that same pattern though. I said this already earlier.
I am not being 'ornery'.
On a completely unrelated subject, I found the Mirror Universe's Method of execution (beamed into space) to be inconsistently merciful considering their obsession with inflicting a maximum of pain. I mean when you're exposed to the vacuum of space, you die in a matter of seconds, between 15 and 20, according to a documentary I saw that was about 2001 (you know the astronaut that had to spend several seconds in a vacuum because the computer had tricked him into going outside without his helmet).
Or they're V'tosh ka'tur. That's actually a Romulan. Vulcans laugh only when they're sick.

Look. They can't remember what they said in the previous part of the two-parter, expecting them to remember what happened in the first episode of the season is obviously too much. Also, if you're thinking these sort of things you clearly hate fun.I just wish the writers would pay attention to what happened in the previous episodes. The seven signals were all in different places and they all revealed at the same time at the start.
You're not supposed to remember that. Look away nothing to see there.I just wish the writers would pay attention to what happened in the previous episodes. The seven signals were all in different places and they all revealed at the same time at the start.
I like fun. I enjoy those Transformers movies and they are a load of nonsense. I just expect more from Star Trek.Look. It was sarcasm. If you weren't a fun hater you would have realised that.I like fun. I enjoy those Transformers movies and they are a load of nonsense. I just expect more from Star Trek.
THEY HAD A MAP!And they repeatedly said they didn't know where and when they occured. But that's time travel for you. Not an exact science when looked at from the position on non time travelers. IE people don't get accurate views of something when they aren't looking from every direction.
