It’s also not the first time they’ve come up with a painfully bad idea either. Precedent is not the same as excuse.

The point is that if it’s that easy to create a time traveling suit, (that Starfleet could build one pre-Cage Era), they wouldn’t have needed to do things like slingshot around stars or marvel at the Guardian of Forever. The Temporal Prime Directive and future Time Cops would be established immediately, and every race from the Klingons to the Romulans to the Miradorn to the Viddians to the Andromedans to you name it would be gathering Infinity Gems for total living chaos.
Nah.

I feel with this rogue AI story-line we're missing some good opportunities to tie things with TanRu, V'ger or the Machine Planet. I mean not everything in Star Trek has to be connected, but since this show is embracing TOS more and more, why not bring them up?

Her "What just happened?!" after Georgiou was taunting Stamets and Culbert was one of the funniest lines and deliveries of the season.
I did like that even though maybe on a meta level it should've suggested that the whole scene be jettisoned.

And she has grown as a character. She's a lot less timid than she used to be. But still just as weird, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
My problem is that I felt she had grown as a character and that she is too timid sometimes such as in this episode. It's a bit overblown sometimes, a little could go a long way. She doesn't have to trip over every sentence.

BTW, I think it´s quite clear Micheal will eventualy wear the Red Angel suit. It was obviously forshadowed in mind meld with Spock.

We have to take the good with the bad. Otherwise, we'd have to toss out a whole lot of Trek and there would be no consensus.

But, I'm not one to talk. I don't care for TWOK.
You’re being silly. Expecting better is not a bad thing. Saying the emperor has no clothes is not treason.

Maybe it’s a byproduct of dealing with too many pointless haters.

That was good, once they got the Airiam's funeral out of the way (too big a scene for someobdy who only got a character last week) - good dialogue all through, Michelle Yeoh in studded leather and getting the best wind-up lines... Although the plan to lure the Angel was logically boned if Michael was the Angel, I like that they went with a logical solution without having the flag up the obvious fallacy in dialogue... As soon as they said time crystals I thought of theThe Crystal Maze...

Next week's looks fun.
