1/10. Felt more like a parody of Star Trek, and the whole mirror universe thing was really rushed. Awkwardly paced. I'd even go as far to say the lame CW Flash series handled the 'Earth 2' multiverse concept much better than this.

Georgiou is the emperor obviously, maybe a descendant of Sato.. meh. It's hard to care about STD anymore, this whole ep was beyond silly.

I thought you were not going to watch anymore? Or was that someone else.

Also the Terran crews acted exactly the same as they did in Enterprise and TIS

You seem to be in the minority. This was my first 10 of the year.

I wouldn't say it was surprising. I mean the two biggest unanswered questions seemed to have a consesus aming viewers weeks before the episode dropped. Tyler is Voq, they are in the mirror universe. And many have surmised our lorca is mirror lorca anyway and that may pan out as well.

Surprising or not, top friggin notch

I am speechless. What an episode! Kudos to Jonathan Frakes for directing such a fantastic episode. WOW. I assumed that we were in the mirror universe but to actually see our crew change into their mirror universe counterparts, was amazing. The mirror universe uniforms are amazing. Tilly was badass. They kill the doctor! Burnham on the bridge of the mirror shenzhou with the crew saluting her. She kills the officer who was trying to kill her. Lorca in an agonizer booth. And those agonizer booths looked so scary. Ash is Voq. The Defiant. Just so many OMG moments! And the fact that we are going to get this mirror universe for several episodes with our crew masquerading as their evil dopplegangers makes it even better.

Best episode of the series so far. A couple of the big twists were not very surprising as they basically aligned with fan theories but they were still pretty good. The other twists: the Defiant and Dr Culber really took me by surprise and caused a couple of oh shit moments. I missed having those moments watching Star Trek during the 12 years there was no television show. Great job Discovery.
