BTW, that episode was far more interesting than the first two. Can't wait for more.

This episode is MUCH better than the first two. And a devious as hell Captain! Not sure this resembles any Star Trek I know of, but it's entertaining as hell.

A warp core that's embedded behind a wall and not a vertical design traversing several decks. Check!

I liked this much mroe then the first 2. Lorca is great. Tilly is fun by annoying and I'm not sure yet what to make of Discovery and her sister ship and where this whole thing is going but I am very intreigueed by the mystery of what the heck is going on here. Count me in for next week.

Still some clunky dialogue, but there were more hints of how normal people speak. Loved Burnham's "Shit, that worked." Little bits of humor here and there, but this is still trying to be SERIOUS TREK a little too hard. I'm definitely intrigued by what's happening on Discovery, though.
