We saw the ship change slightly through the first 3 movies...anyone have predictions of how they will alter the design we saw at the end of beyond for Star Trek 4?
It'll look like however they can 'tweak' the existing computer model cheapest.
I think those huge factory interiors on the Kelvin and Enterprise gave an amazing sense of scale that no other Trek has matched.I would like to see a fully realized Main Engineering, down in the lower levels of the ship. I never liked the soda plant location from the 1st 2 films.
One hopes that if they change it much, they release both versionsEaglemoss is holding back from making the E-A model until a new film is out. So we only got pictures till then.![]()
yeah, totally strange for eaglemoss to actively avoid a double dip.One hopes that if they change it much, they release both versions
I concur. There was such a brief glimpse of the A at the end of Beyond, the general audience won’t notice at all if it maintains the usual saucer/engineering hull/nacelles configuration. The only thing I expect them to keep is the gold/blue/red uniform color scheme.personally, i'm anticipating major revisions in all aspects of the production design. it will have been so long since star trek beyond by the time this film premieres, the producers will probably take the opportunity to design it from the ground up. even if it's still in keeping with the design and style started by the 2009 film, it'll probably totally new, with no reuse -- even the uniforms and props we just got for beyond will probably be revamped.
i'd rather they not radically change much, but the nature of changing directors is also changing tastes.
Exterior, probably more or less what we saw in Beyond. Interior on the other hand I hope they get rid of that post-modern Apple Store look which just feels like a douchebag magnet.
it's kind of in vogue to constantly update tech in sci-fi sequels... the transformers always look different, iron man's armor is always new, every superhero suit gets an upgrade between films... i actually look forward to seeing what they come up with for the enterprise-A mark II.I concur. I was disappointed by the 1701-A+ at the end of the movie, since the Enterpise seen in Beyond was literally a new design of the ship or a modified version from the JJship. As brief as this new sleeker Enterprise was, I wish I could see more of that design.personally, i'm anticipating major revisions in all aspects of the production design. it will have been so long since star trek beyond by the time this film premieres, the producers will probably take the opportunity to design it from the ground up. even if it's still in keeping with the design and style started by the 2009 film, it'll probably totally new, with no reuse -- even the uniforms and props we just got for beyond will probably be revamped.
