Star Trek Colon Into Darkness Movie Film For Theaters

I'm just glad no attempt is being made to number these things any more. I obsess over the organization of my shelves enough as it is.

In the end, people will be saying, "Star Trek Into Darkness may not have a colon, but it does deliver."

Today there was an article about Karl Urban in my local paper, and... it added a colon to the title!!!

Yes. We have difficulty to find the translation to portuguese. "Jornada na Escuridão" is wrong because "Jornada" means trek as noun, not verb.
It could be translated as "Viajar nas estrelas dentro da escuridão". Too long, but it is correct.
Trek Brasilis will keep the title in English, for now.

How this title will attract to the theaters people that do not like science fiction, like in Portugal, Brazil, Spain, Italy, China?

I don´t know if it will be a problema, but there will be dificultty to tranlation outside the Anglo Saxon market.

This, after Chris Pine meticulously pointed and said that they weren't trying to make a Nolan-style batman movie. They may as well call it "ST: Into The Dark Knight." Then the one after this could be called "ST: Rising Out of the Darkness."

Let's just hope that the movie is good.

I suppose there are worse franchises they could have referred to.

At the end of ST XI the Narada is crushed in a black hole. From the Countdown comic we learn that Nero had Robau's body put in the ship's bio-recycling system. We can extrapolate from this that Robau's soul fused with the Narada and is trapped in the black hole. The title alludes to the fact that Kirk and company will have to journey "into" the "darkness" of the black hole to retrieve his soul. This is the only possible explanation of the title.
