Bob Orci was drunk on a plane again today and spilled some (minor) beans on Trekmovie.com. Specifically, the villain is not Harry Mud, the Klingons will have ridges (yes, take that one however you want to), and apparently, we're to get something on the lines of a teaser "super soon".

In the exact quote, the implication is that Klingons do have ridges (and were intended to in the deleted scenes in ST09), but the ambiguity is over whether or not they're in the new movie.

In other words, Ruffles Have Ridges, but whether or not the store has them in stock is in question.

Actually, it looks like that Klingon is wearing the same helmet/mask as the ones in the Trek XI deleted scenes. The forehead of that particular apparatus does indeed have ridges, but we have no indication if the actul Klingons themselves do.

We don't know of Klingons have ridges in the Abrams timeline, and won't until if/when we see one without a helmet.

Why wouldn't they have ridges. In the picture in the link I posted they Klingon looks like he is wearing a helmet that has ridges on it. Pretty logical to me that the helmet would be designed to fit over their ridges.
