OmahaStar, what is the difference between "The Rising", and "Rising:Selected Scenes From The End Of The World"? Also, between "Conqueror Worms" and "Earthworm Gods:Selected Scenes"? I enjoyed both books, so if they're reissues with extra goodies, they may be interesting to pick up.
-The Ice Bowl: The Cold Truth About Football's Most Unforgettable Game by Ed Gruver.

I am going to have to reread this novel. I read it back when it first came out in 80s and was fascinated by it is junior high kid getting into novels. I remember as the Next Generation evolved thinking I liked this novel's version of Klingons and their society better.Last night I finished The Final Reflection by John Ford. This was my first time reading it, and I have to say, amazing novel. I find myself drawn to the Star Trek universe created by the early authors before the movies and post TOS TV series appeared. The Klingon culture portrayed in it is complex, different, and real.
I'm working between two books right now:
Faction Paradox: The Book of the War edited by Lawrence Miles and An Insider's Guide to the UN by Linda Fasulo.
is it bad?

As a good Texan living near Dallas, I am reading it from the Cowboy angle. Unfortunately it didn't work out to well for us that day. Better days were definitely ahead for us the next decade.
