So I'm reading the "Twilight" Series (Spoilers)

^ But it's full of hot shirtless guys! How could you not like that!

Honestly I think it's Baywatch for teenage girls and gay teens, no plot, but nice to look at.

I honestly don't think I could sit through either of the Twilight movies. It was awkward enough sitting through the trailer for New Moon!

I actually enjoyed the first one. :o It's no masterpiece, but at least it had something resembling a decent plot, which is far, far more than can be said for the second one. I hated the second movie.
Really? I found New Moon to be more tolerable than Twilight, mostly because Pattinson was absent during most of it. Christ, what an awful actor. And he's fugly, too. Not sure why all the teenage girls get off on him.

But he wears his paints hanging down just above his junk! I mean... they could just slip and then you'd see his milky, cold little sparkly penis!

:swoon:

Yeah, for teens. At thirty-two, teen guys so don't do it for me! Which is a good thing, but definitely takes the only appeal of New Moon away.

Yeah, I don't see the appeal there either. And he wears more make up than I do!

I was eating!

I read a review of New Moon recently that stated Rob Pattinson looked like he had dunked his face in a bowl of flour, and had all the screen presence of a used sock!

If they're going to make a terrible, trashy movie of the Twilight series, full of eye candy for the tween girls; can't they at least give us blokes some of our own eye candy? I mean, Kristen Stewart has a pretty smile, but I feel guilty like I'm looking at someone's younger sister when I look at her. There's always Rachelle Lefevre, I suppose. Oh wait, she ain't in the next one! Bastards! :(

How dare that review make fun of socks! I have seen sock puppets who are 1100 times better! :p

It's why I'm on Team Jacob. ;)

Hell yeah! Ashley Greene needs more screentime, too!

Amazingly, I'd never heard of this series until the wank that came out after the last book. Thankfully, I had a friend that was into all the emo vampire shit and bummed the books from her, saving sixty wasted dollars.

What a horribly written book. The descriptions in the first book are like things I remember reading in the first pieces of fanfiction I ever came across. I took me two weeks to finish reading just the first thirty PAGES on that basis alone. And that's saying nothing about Bella being a Super-Sue, the gross depictions of "love", or how there's nothing that comes close to resembling a plot in this story at all.

You bastard beat me!^

I love him.
"Did the author write this book on a computer or did she just sneeze it out?"
"So a type vampires in and a load of stuff came out, movies, TV shows and a shity book series!"

If someone would do a "fan edit" of the Twilight books (ala The Phantom Edit) and remove all the agnsty teenage emo-ness...
However, I don't really see it happening anytime soon.

Oh, as if most teenagers weren't a little emo at some point.

Besides, Edward might be sort of emo, but Bella? Bella?! No way. She's much too pragmatic.

As for the eye-candy thing, I don't think Rob Pattinson is all that good-looking. My mum loves him though.
