IMO, Carlisle was severely miscast. I envisioned with brown hair, in his mid 30's, and more patriarchal. The Carlisle in the film just looked oddly weird to me.

Meh, that picture's just an example of the wackiness of mainland europe when it comes to their bands (plus, it's the 80's so...).

As for the music, I wouldn't say it's anywhere close to being my favourite, but I also wouldn't compare it to the awfulness of Twilight.
