Oh I will be there. I fully expect to see crap manifest itself on the movie screen, but regardless I will be there. I am a Trek Fan, and us Trek fans stick with Star Trek regardless of if it's a work of art like TWOK or a steming pile of shit where starship registries start with zero.

This is parody right?

the ever-more questionable 'the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few'
That is one of the best movie quotes ever, Trek or otherwise.
I'm new to this part of the TBBS (I'm usually fighting in TNZ over stupid crap. Now I'm doing that here) and I noticed that while the majority of the people here seem really enthusiastic about this movie (I know I am!) there are some who don't like the idea of re-booting, or re-imagining or whatever they choose to call it.
So are you going to see the movie or not? I haven't seen a Trek movie in theatres since Insurrection (I've yet to see Nemesis all the way through when it's on tv. I just saw the part where they crash the ship and Data dies and everyone is sad) but I'm excited about this. I think a reboot is exactly what the franchaise needs. That's just my opinion though, but it seems like its the prevailing one around here.
Just so that I understand this correctly: You did not watch a movie because of a few seconds?I skipped Nemesis because I heard about Admiral Janeway's cameo
