I will see it.

Not at the mid-nite showing the day before tho' cause I'm oooooooooooold, and find it to hard to do all nighters like I used to do when I was younger.

Possibly also not on the opening day as well, but sometime that weekend.

I am going to see it. I do have my doubts about the film. then again I had my doubts before Enterprise aired. And that (in my opinion) turned out good. So I guess there is hope for this movie.

Whenever SKY TV first shows it on one of the free channels, so, about a year after it comes out I'll see it on TV probably.

Oh I will be there. I fully expect to see crap manifest itself on the movie screen, but regardless I will be there. I am a Trek Fan, and us Trek fans stick with Star Trek regardless of if it's a work of art like TWOK or a steming pile of shit where starship registries start with zero.

At this point in time, I still plan on seeing this movie in the theater, but my enthusiasm has waned this past few weeks as more information has come out.

I skipped Nemesis because I heard about Admiral Janeway's cameo, and it remains to be seen how much TPTB plan to offend me with this reboot.

This is parody right?

I like TWOK too, but it is hardly 'a work of art'.

Bruce Greenwood's voice-over in the trailer had already as much substance as TWOK's 'revenge is a dish that is best served cold' or the ever-more questionable 'the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few'

I'll see it and I'll see it on opening day. I don't know about a midnight show, though. I'll have to decide that when it's much closer to the release.

I'll see it. Sooner or later. Maybe before it ends its theater run. I'm in no rush though. I'm not excited about it. I'm not a fan of anything JJ Abrams has done.

I'm new to this part of the TBBS (I'm usually fighting in TNZ over stupid crap. Now I'm doing that here) and I noticed that while the majority of the people here seem really enthusiastic about this movie (I know I am! :D) there are some who don't like the idea of re-booting, or re-imagining or whatever they choose to call it.

So are you going to see the movie or not? I haven't seen a Trek movie in theatres since Insurrection (I've yet to see Nemesis all the way through when it's on tv. I just saw the part where they crash the ship and Data dies and everyone is sad) but I'm excited about this. I think a reboot is exactly what the franchaise needs. That's just my opinion though, but it seems like its the prevailing one around here.

Of course I am. Now that the TNG era crap has tanked once and for all the Star Trek story can get back on course with the only characters I give a fuck about. The originals!

Of course.

It'll be the best 10 bucks I spend whether it's good or bad.

By the by... I believe the the white/black handles on each console are part of the fire suppression system.
