I'm actually surprised that it's taken this long to announce Michael and Annette's return which pretty much was to be expected, just a matter of when fitting them into the schedule. The same for Phil. We've still not really had an episode dedicated solely to the Martin Manhunter yet which is a shame. We've barely seen him.

A Martian Manhunter centric episode would've been cool to see (in theory anyways). Too bad it never happened. With this being the final season it won't. I just hope they fit him in somewhere.

If I was in charge of Smallville I would be hammering out the webisodes starring all the little people and then run them as fake programming/real ads for smallvile.

But ten 3 minute spots of Oliver chasing some bastard in a run lola run sort French connection chase scene across the roof tops of Metropolis.

Ten 3 minute spots of the Martian Man hunter with his full power set dealing with a metoero like that bastard who killed the dinosaurs.

10 3 minute spots of Lois vs the mob in all sorts of alias disguise running and niterrogation finding the story screaming "BLUUURRRRR!"

10 3 minute bits about Bart dealing with some current adventure as he's also explaining how he comes form the 25th century FINALLY.... Hitting on Speedy? (Is that Speedy over on Tower Prep?) I mean because Speedy vs. Kid flash is the classic team up.

And then they splice it all into a movie like they did with BSG Razor.

According to tipster Mr. Vancouver, wrestler Matt Morgan is in talks to portray the physical emodiment of Darkseid on Smallville.

I have no idea who he is...but why not get Kane? He was great as Titan and would be good as Darkseid too.

Also so Jet...I feel your anxiousness over "Icarus" now that I read the thing is supposed to deal with a new twist in the Lois and Clark relationship? Right after they get engaged in "Luthor" or whatever. Geez.

Matt is going to feel like shit that they just want to use him for his body whe they have bugger with a Jeffry Sinclair voice to shake Clark's filli... Surely the school would have gotten tetchy that Clark never saw the Dentist. Ever? Doesn't he county pick up the dental fees for kids?

Allison Mack Returns In "Collateral".

Although she will be appearing in the season's 11th episode, "Icarus," currently scheduled for December 10, it turns out it is just a cameo role. Look for a FULL Canary episode in the season's 12th episode, "Collateral," which also features the return of Allison Mack's Chloe.

Even dead people. Lionel Luthor (John Glover), pushed out of a building to his death by son Lex in Season 7, returns to the CW drama on December 3 for the first of four episodes. Then, on December 10, Michael Shanks makes his final appearance as Hawkman and Chloe (Allison Mack) returns, briefly. (She'll be in four more episodes before the series ends.) "It is a great cliff-hanger going into the spring run, because there are a couple of pretty big twists in that episode," says executive producer Brian Peterson. "Things don't go very well for our heroes. Just when Clark is on top of the world, things kind of crash down around him."

"Icarus" is the mid-season cliffhanger? Cat is back in "Icarus" according to the guest cast list, you probably already know that. So Hawkman isn't part of the finale, that sucks. I'm still skipping "Luthor" I can't stand the concept.

I didn't know she(Cat) was going to be in "Icarus" Guest Stars: Michael Hogan (Slade Wilson/Deathstroke), Michael Shanks (Carter Hall), Alaina Huffman (Black Canary)...is what it says on K-Site.

Smallville Wiki lists Cat in their reoccurring roles section for the episode who maybe it's an error. Cat has grown on me since her first episode. I know people can't stand her but I believe she is purposely written that way...as we saw in her "tender moment" with Clark she probably uses an overcompensation of personality to hide her true feelings and it was also part of her disguise.

I'm still skipping "Luthor". I was actually hoping that it would be a really interesting episode about Tess's recent revelation and the history and legacy of the family...not some garbage alternate reality no one gives a damn about.

Well I think the ep will have some answers...it seems like they are out of the filler stage...I think it is going to be interesting.

I hope Cat is in "Icarus". I was going to bring this up in the JL Vs L* thread when dude man started bringing up the cast and how they are limping along this season...but I think Keri Lynn Pratt/Cat Grant should have been a regular...I have enjoyed her more than ED or JH this season.

I have no idea what they're doing with Ollie, he's been a waste of space, but at least we got his wife!!! Go Lindsay! Actually scrap what I just said about Ollie, they're using him to expose the Vigilante Registration Act. Speaking of that...holy hell that was fast by the Senate, a few heroes pop up in Metropolis and a few other cities to help out people and they're labeled vigilantes!!! Took Marvel's Universe Rao knows how many years to finally come up with that type of a bill lol.
