Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

Did he see the script and say this is awful...hell no! I think John saw some promise in the script...I'd hate to think it was all about $$$...look at MR & KK...I am sure they offered them tons of $$$ and they said no. John seems like a good sport too. I wonder if Clark is with Tess in the AU. He should get to be with her at least once on this God forsaken show!

I am glad Smallville is doing 11 eps before the winter hiatus...Icarus the last on Dec 10th. :)

I don't see S10 getting any better really. :sigh: Abandoned looks good...Ambush wasn't bad and Patriot might be alright...we'll see.

He probably came back because it's the finale season. After he left there was no one over 40 on the show lol.

Glover has done a lot of crap in his time. It's probably a chance for him to appear in the final season of a show he spent quite some time on. It's also an easy paycheck for him.

Even when stuff is bad, he's found something good to do with his performance. Glover and Uma Thurman were the only actors in Batman & Robin who knew what they were making. :p

I was worried about Kelly directing...but this sounds interesting. :bolian:

This is beyond being worried... This sounds downright scary!

I know I'm in a bit of a minority here, but I really think this season is turning out to be substandard. I mean WTF, what does THIS have to do with propelling Clark towards becoming Superman? I know Welling has a jones about getting as many people back as he can and this is the way to bring back a dead character, but sheesh! On paper, this just sounds like a train-wreck waiting to occur.

Just my .02 worth. That said, I'm sure I'll be onhand to witness said wreck.

Uma & John G. were good. I still didn't like Uma for that part...I am sure she could have played a more suitable role in a Batman movie.

I think that is the point...the PSW don't want Superman until the final act...which is sad...needs to be atleast a full ep of TW in the \S/uit...but whatever.

This is just a filler episode, nothing to do with Clark becoming Superman other than to explore possibilities which might have happened. Another dressed up filler.

If I wasn't convinced before...I am now...Brian & Kelly are idiots.

Come on! You know you want to see them bring a Starfleet Academy series to The CW!

Our hero is Kirk, who is pining away at the perfect Carol Marcus who can never do any wrong from her pedestal, and there's then there's the troubled friendship between Kirk and Gary Mitchell. And Kirk's closest friend Uhura who is the ideal girl but no one notices her, especially Kirk who is oblivious to her pining away at him.

Episodes will revolve around Kirk saving Carol from all the times she crashes her shuttlecraft. Other episodes will be about all the so-called secrets that Kirk keeps from Mitchell.

"Why didn't you tell me you bought your mother the complete Buffy the Vampire Slayer series on Green-ray for her birthday, Jim? How am I supposed to trust you with all these secrets you're keeping from me?"

It also turns out that the Genesis project from Kirk's future son can travel back in time, turning people into superpowered freaks that Kirk must stop.

And of course EVERYONE will be attending Starfleet Academy at one time or another so Kirk can bump into them... Harry Mudd, Kruge, Soran, a Gorn.

There will also be episodes featuring characters from the future who want to help Kirk achieve his destiny... like a guy named Jean-Luc who has perfect abs and long blond hair.

 Dude you should pitch this!

Don't forget to add the Borg in there. :borg:

[edit] Academy Kirk must defeat all the Federations enemies before he becomes captain.
