So there in the new galaxy already? not only was the gate working but when they came out of FTL there were stars around. Dam those galaxies must have been close together.

The ship must accelerate between Galaxies to prevent boredom. It didn't go fast enough.

I had to give it a 1/10. I was going to give it a 3, because it wasn't quite as tedious as the lesbian cripple swappy stone nonsense of last week... but unfortunately they couldn't leave well enough and had another fucking montage at the end

And where did the ticks come from? Presumably from a recent mission after the jump between galaxies... So... two episodes ago they had just left the galaxy. Somehow the next episode they were still in Stargate range of the last galaxy, and then one episode later in this episode they're gating to stuff in the new Galaxy.

If you're going to go for the 'space madness' episode, why do ticks instead of having it be something to do with being in intergalactic space for weeks/months. It seems like the most logical way to do your space madness episode and kill the galactic jump time all in one go. The galaxy jump got even less of a resolution than the three that were being left behind in the other galaxy!

It was a neat stand alone episode. True, it didn't add anything to the storyline, but that's okay to have one of those once in a while. I was entertained.

I was soooo hoping the opening with Lt. Juggs killing Sparky was real. Damn.

And, I gotta say... I'm hating Chloe more and more. ("Yes, I'm hallucinating, but I'm fine with it. Go away." The HELL?)

Honestly, that was refreshing to see. Her hallucination was positive for her. She was able to "reconnect" with her dead dad. Hallucination or not, who wouldn't want to keep that going for a while if they could?

6/10. I'm not a huge fan of these sorts of episodes but there was one thing that amused me...

a) Rush going ape**** on everyone with the metal rod
b) I understand Chloe's desire to keep the tick, I mean apart from the hallucinations it wasn't doing her any specific harm... sometimes the desire to not lose something is so strong that people would do almost anything to prevent it

They made such a big deal on the space between galaxies and how long it would take them and it's poof poof, we're there... Whatever.

The thing I was wondering when the opening started and it was the secks going on... What exactly are they using for contraception up on the ship?

Filler episode, pretty boring. I'd say the weakest episode so far of the back half of the season.

I'm hoping that first scene where Greer finds Wray in the gateroom was real though.

Anything that sets Wray up as more evil and hopefully leading to her getting killed is fine with me.

So what was going on with Wray and Rush? Greer could see/hear things that weren't real, but Wray and Rush were meeting, right? Did some of Mandy carryover to Wray?

And Greer is going to have to deal with his paranoia and Daddy issues. Love him, but he's going to have to grow in some way or he'll end up being a one-note, and I don't want that for him.

I had the same thoughts. It's funny that the only pregnant character got pregnant before being stranded on the ship that must have run out of contraceptives weeks ago.

Pointless filler. "The Naked One" is what it should have been called. To fit with similar-themed Star Trek episodes The Naked Time and The Naked Now. Hell, I wonder why they didn't have someone like I don't know, Eli prancing around the ship shirtless waving a sword around.

But yeah, this storyline has not only been done on Star Trek a bunch of times, I'm pretty sure other sci-fi has done variations on it. This episode offered nothing new to this particular trope, nor did offer any new insghts to SGU.

And it really was a letdown seeing the Sombreroids coming through the gate was just a hallucination. Mind you, I had this predicted after last week when they didn't board the ship then. I know spoilers for the rest of the episodes this season, and there's no way the Sombreroids could fit into that, so having them in the hallucination was the only viable option. Although, I was hoping that maybe the whole thing would turn out to be Sombreroids already on the ship and they were torturning the crew, but sadly this was not the case.

Totally forgot about that for some reason. I guess they were trying to avoid what they thought would have been a boring and uneventful trip, but they could have done a number of stories...

- The crew tries to use the stones to visit home, but the people back home don't want to trade places with starving bodies.

- Have a mysterious race enter the ship through the gates despite not being in gate range.

- Do an episode where they discover another ship with a gate on it.

- Do an episode where the crew is making a concerted effort to make the ship go faster before everyone starves.

Hell, I wonder why they didn't have someone like I don't know, Eli prancing around the ship shirtless waving a sword around.
You know what? That would have been a perfect homage to Trek. If you're gonna do something that's been done many times before, at least poke fun at that fact. And with Eli into Trek, an outburst like that would make sense too. I think he'd have to use a kitchen utensil though. No swords on board.

When Rush was seeing them, I kew they weren't real, but at some point, I did wonder if they were responsible for the hallucinations.

I'm surprised they didn't give us a throwaway line like "Hey, ever since last week, we can go faster and get to the new galaxy faster!"

However, if they did you're suggestion, fans would just bitch about how there's no exploring, the stones are boring, the ship is boring, survival stories are boring, etc. You know, the same stuff people have been griping about since day one.

That being said, we really don't know how long they have been between galaxies or how much time has passed between this episode and the last one. Maybe it has been a couple of months between galaxies. Probably not; I'm just throwing something out there.

I'm hoping that first scene where Greer finds Wray in the gateroom was real though.

It wasn't. Look at the shirt she was wearing. "Real" Wray was wearing a blue shirt, where as hallucination Wray was wearing a red one.

So what was going on with Wray and Rush? Greer could see/hear things that weren't real, but Wray and Rush were meeting, right? Did some of Mandy carryover to Wray?

My guess is that Rush wanted to talk about what happened given how weirded out Rush was when Mandy kissed him. Also, given that he's had a slight character shift (less of an ass) since his experience in the chair, perhaps he wanted to apologize or confess. Or maybe he wanted to thank Wray for letting Mandy to use her body. This is just pure speculation on my part. Too bad we didn't see that continuation of that conversation.

I was half-expecting someone NOT to have the tick, maybe Rush...he was just having some post-traumatic stress thing. But they didn't do that.

I was hoping that Rush wasn't imagining things and the aliens really were invading. That would be a twist on the hallucination story: all the characters are so busy dealing with the visions that they dismiss a genuine Bad Thing as being unreal, and so it slips by right under their noses.

I was thinking, you got Greer hunting Rush and Wray, seeing and hearing what he wants. You got Rush, thinking he's being chased by the aliens.

Did Rush know that Greer was not an alien? I don't think so. And Greer was so focused on Wray, was he aware the Rush was there?

And good catch on shirt color.

It can't be said enough, Julia Benson has a marvellous pair of boobs. More of her.

Yes I'm a pig, but everyone pretty much covered everything else I was thinking. 6/10, not bad but skip-able.
