Series 5 trailer

It certainly looks pretty. The new TARDIS set is particularly lickable.

As for Matt Smith, it's impossible to say from the scant few lines given to him in the trailer. From what little we do see, however, he does seem to be very ten-ish.

There's nothing here to get excited about - except, perhaps, that Amy is gorgeous - and Smith's waving about of a gun leaves a bad taste.

Also, he's homely.

At least he knows it. The 'Blimey!' when he felt that massive chin for the first time was a nice touch.

My open free mind likes to be excited.

Actually that's a lot of be excited about. She's made be forget about Rose and Donna already and we haven't even herd a peep out of here yet. Can't wait for season five or 30-something or whatever, if I can find a way to pay the extra 30 bones a month on the extra super premium package required to get BBCA.

Its weird I've not given much thought to Amy apart from I hope Moffet gives her more than a skirt to wear  its family show after all and at least tease us don't give us it all at the beginning we could be stuck with her for years :p

It definitely looks like a lot of fun. The trick is going to be making us love these characters. RTD had a real knack for that- hopefully Moffat will not disappoint.

Between River Song, Sally Sparrow, Captain Jack and Madame de Pompadour, I've enjoyed pretty much every character Moffat has given us. I've got faith. :)

I have no doubt the Moff is going to give us a brilliant season. Its not like he's new to all this y'know.

I'm very happy to see Amy and the Doctor kiss, too. One of the things I loved about Series One and Two of nuWho was that it was, really, an epic romance disguised as a sci-fi/action show. And as much as I enjoyed Series Three and Four and the Specials, I really missed that aspect of the show. Here's hoping that Moffat, sappy old softie that he is, brings back some real romance to the show!

I'm already sick of the shallow, and fucking insulting, "He's ugly/got a big chin/forehead/hair" shit. Who gives a fuck what he looks like so long as he can act?

I loved the trailer...and Karen Gillan is gorgeous...am looking forward to seeing her with the Eleventh Doctor. It's going to be interesting to see River return, I've been looking forward to seeing Alex Kingston return I loved River. Seems as Sci pointed out we're going to get some romance in series five.

Did anyone else notice that very brief shot of the new TARDIS interior in the part where River Song falls through the TARDIS doors and lands on top of Eleven? Could someone post some screencaps?

That always happens at the start.

"Eh, could have been worse. But look at the ears!"

"New teeth, that's weird."

"Nose. I've had worse. Chin. Blimey!"

And I've noticed that no matter how odd you think they are at the start, you soon grow to like them. :)
