Just had a thought: In that film, in addition to Soylents Green, Red, Yellow and Blue, there is also Soylent Orange. (The last two can be glimpsed during the food riot scene.) Maybe it really IS pumpkin spice.

Forgot to mention that I had a really good pumpkin spice muffin from Tim Hortons the other day. Next time I'm back there, I think I'm going to go for the doughnut!

So I was making my way nicely in the grocery store, no pumpkin spice products in sight. I made the mistake of looking at a display to my left and not only did I see -- but for some inexplicable reason locked my eyes upon, but fucking pumpkin spice-flavored Jell-O.
No. There is no room for this Jell-O. All this pumpkin spice stuff is trying to Cosby me.

I thought of this thread and decided to get myself a pumpkin spice latte. It wasn't bad actually. The pumpkin spice flavor wasn't that strong but it was sweet and creamy. I don't drink coffee since it doesn't make me feel the best but it was an okay treat so I may get another one tomorrow and be done with it. I also have some pumpkin spice cheesecake which I'll be having over the course of the week and I'll get a pumpkin doughnut if my favorite spot makes one.

A restaurant here has been featuring pumpkin spice martinis recently. I can't even describe how gross that sounds to me!
On the other hand, I had some Taharka Brothers pumpkin pie ice cream the other day that was absolutely to die for! Much better than actual pumpkin pie, which I'm not crazy about.
Today I wanted a Quest bar at the mall, and they had "limited edition" pumpkin spice ones, so I decided to give one a try. Bad decision. Really bad.

OMG, I love pumpkin pie.
I can't say I'm crazy about all this other pumpkin spice crap, but I do understand why it's out there, this being Halloween season and all that.

That must be a distinctive American thing as I've never heard of such a thing. I love sweet potatoes and eat them quite frequently, but never heard of it in an actual pie form.
