Today I wanted a Quest bar at the mall, and they had "limited edition" pumpkin spice ones, so I decided to give one a try. Bad decision. Really bad.

Just out of curiosity, what's a Quest bar? (I know, I know... we have a Google now... )

It's a brand of nutrition/protein bar. (Yes, the Google could have told you that. )

If I'm going to eat real pie this time of year, I'd rather have sweet potato than pumpkin. But I'd rather have ice cream than either.

That must be a distinctive American thing as I've never heard of such a thing. I love sweet potatoes and eat them quite frequently, but never heard of it in an actual pie form.

Thanks! I don't normally shop there, but I do have one that's not too far away.

However... believe it or not, it was actually snowing here this weekend. I think the time for ice cream has perhaps passed for this year...

Everything I've ate that has Pumpkin flavor has been disappointing this year. I don't know why. I used to be the fool who loved it. Is it possible to outgrow pumpkin spice?!

I suppose I should read all 27 pages first but...maybe later. I can see a lot businesses are in on the absurdity.

We should add "Salted Caramel" to the list. It's popping up everywhere. Jokes on us if the unmentionable ingredient is semen.

I saw pumpkin spice cookie and cake mix today and I ate salted caramel Lindt chocolates yesterday.

Feels like more people are wanting it to go away, than they are drinking, eating or whatever it. I'm not a fan of spiced or pumpkin flavored things, so I'm undecided.
