That certainly lends credence to the speculation about the episode titled Mirrored
i wonder if whatever this treasure its been hidden across space,time and realities.
if they find USS Defiant in the mirror universe would they run into the mirror NX-01 crew?
This feels so bittersweet. The season looks neat, and I'll probably enjoy it overall. But it sucks that this wasn't the planned final year.
It helps to remember that, since Star Trek is such a (relatively) big brand, and since Paramount isn't ending the Kurtzman era full-force, this is more like a "soft cancelation." Still plenty of marketing fanfare; reshoots for a denouement. Toss in Starfleet Academy carrying the 32nd-century torch, and you know, yeah. It's a lot of little things that add up into a mass of "this could have been worse."
But I would have been quite interested in seeing what the writers might've brought to the table had they known ahead of time that they'd be going for one last swing here.
Maybe we get a TV movie.

I would be very surprised if we didn't.
Could also easily be a MU ship that was thrown into the 32nd Century.
Doesn't mean we're crossing over, especially since it appears to the 23rd Century ship, based on the use of SNW sets in the shots

That ends it for me.
DS9 ran the MU into the ground. For DISCO to waste a good chunk of first season episodes on the MU, then end the series in a similar way? Not worth my time.
Regardless, that is clearly the Terran Empire's logo, so the Mirror Universe obviously plays a part in the season in some manner. Meaning the speculation about the episode Mirrored might be more on the mark than I would have preferred.

I don't understand judging something be you've actually watched it.
Well, good thing people know this now since they can not watch it.
Their first foray was utter bollocks. I don't need a second taste to know it's shit. Past performance, and all that. Be the optimist. I don't have the time to waste.

And how do you know if it's a waste if you don't watch it? For all you know it will be better than Season 1. Or it will be just a set peice.

Duscovery's handling of the MU was the best since Mirror, Mirtor. If someone doesn't like it then you won't argue them in to agreement.

They could just be investigating a ship from the MU. It doesn't mean they travel there or spend time there.
