Hopefully this will inspire them to release Picard season 3 on UHD since it was filmed in 4k. I think the last season of Discovery was too.
by the way the back of the set says that some episodes made be edited from the network version. I’m not sure what they mean by that exactly.

Usually means new front cards or credits added by the companies doing to the processing.Where does it say so, and does anybody know what exactly has been edited?
P+ through Amazon Prime streams it in 4K.Is this confirmed? It's only streaming in HD.
They should still do a UHD release even if they have to upscale from 2k, if only for the HDR. It would really make the space scenes pop.
That’s great! Thanks, fingers crossed for a UHD release.P+ through Amazon Prime streams it in 4K.

HDR does not require 4K. It’s rarely used without it, though. Is this confirmed? It's only streaming in HD.

Almost any animation benefits from the highest resolution available for consumer use. It’s one of the reasons animated films are often used to demo TVs.Is there any benefit to putting Lower Decks on UHD?
I know, because sadly HDR wasn't part of the standard Blu-ray spec, so it would need a UHD disc.HDR does not require 4K. It’s rarely used without it, though.
SNW is coming out on DVD. As are Disco S4 and Picard S2. ...In America, at least.
I got one recently from Wal-Mart that was about $100, it's probably the cheapest option right now. It was an older player, but supports HDR10. You'll need a HDMI cable that can handle 4K too, but they can be found pretty cheap on Amazon or similar sites.I need to get a 4k player. I have the TV lol
I use my X-Box One as a Blu-Ray player (and Disney+), but that was a Pre-4k model.
