OP-Q
Star Trek has never had that beforeThat's one way of seeing it.
Another is the Utter Respect For Consequences.
Impossible for it to get any worse!
So you'll be with us for Season 2, right? No, it was the worst ever. Appalling. "Picard" is the worst Star Trek series ever. Congrats, Voyager, you're no longer the bottom of the barrel!
Anyone else a little suspicious it's gonna be a time travel "Here is your life" presented by Q from that narration?
Not saying it will be, could be more repercussions from Picard's past actions confronting him in his old age maybe, but I got a "Tapestry" vibe.
why even 'contribute' to this thread thenNo, it was the worst ever. Appalling. "Picard" is the worst Star Trek series ever. Congrats, Voyager, you're no longer the bottom of the barrel!
SPS said they have material for 3 seasons, IIRCHm, wait, didn't they mention, a long time ago, that they were writing season 3 already? Or am I misremembering?
Apparently, different 'times' will be shown, and that Stargazer model was in the teaser for a peculiarly long time...I don't think they'll spend a whole season on something that's just going to turn out to be a what-if or a replay of Tapestry, so I expect whatever lesson Q's imparting this time, there will be repercussions beyond Picard and his regrets. That said, I wouldn't cry into my coffee if this season did a better job with that theme than the last one.
Because we're grown ups (semi) and can handle contrary opinions?why even 'contribute' to this thread then![]()
The only thing I did not like was when it said 2022![]()

SPS said they have material for 3 seasons, IIRC

Akiva Goldsman is one of the co-creators of the series. He isn't sure when the show will end, but says they've considered going three seasons, five seasons, or until star Patrick Stewart gets bored. “I mean, I think we have discussed it as both a 3 season show, a 5 season show, a 'let’s just keep going forever' show…" Goldsman tells Collider. "Star Trek: Picard in my view will go as long as Patrick Stewart wants to do it… As I’m sure you know, he was not interested in coming back. And we did a lot of… really good collaborative story breaking and talking and you know and I think he’s particularly delighted in a good way about having come back. And we will rely on that goodwill until he feels he’s done.”
I am not sure why "time" is a focus of the teaser. I guess we will find out if it really means anything in 2022.
Sure, but the voiceover of the trailer hints strongly at time travel/ revisiting old times: second chances etc.Even as an android, Picard's time is limited. He's not going to live forever.
