    Synthehol, counseling available, reducing stressors. All of which is voluntary, unless a clear danger to self or others is presented, unless mandatory treatment has somehow shown to become efficacious in the 24th century.

    I’m sure Raffi could live in a (nationalized) estate if only she were to fill out an application and be accepted on the basis of being a great steward to a piece of Earth’s history. If she wanted to build her own, well, I’m sure industrial replication is not a problem, but Earth’s planning commission might have something to say about that. Why would anyone want more than they need for personal enlightenment? A soundproof apartment isn’t enough? You can always use holodeck time to sleep in a castle if you want. And if you’d like to have your own planet, why, simply become a classic hermit scientist. Earth is more about looking back than forward anyway.
